Manhattan

Cops are looking for the thug who allegedly grabbed a 12-inch bread knife from behind a deli counter and attacked a man in Midtown.

The shirtless suspect (pictured) stormed into a store on Second Avenue near East 55th Street at about 3:43 a.m. Saturday, picked up the blade and slashed the 23-year-old victim in the left leg, police said.

The victim was treated and is in stable condition. The perp fled, but the weapon was found ditched near some garbage bags.

It’s unclear what prompted the attack.

Queens

A thief snatched a valuable 18th century white jade cup with a dragon-shaped handle from an antiques store in Astoria, police said. The caper occurred on July 17 while Antiques Reader Inc., at 39-06 Crescent St., was open for business, police added.

The cup is worth $20,000, a source said.

The man is believed to be responsible for a one-man burglary spree in Astoria.

He first struck July 17, slipping into Butcher Bar on 30th Avenue at about 2:30 a.m. and swiping an unknown amount of money from the register.

Three days later, at about 3:30 a.m., he scampered through the rear window of Mister Laundree on 34th Avenue and made off with an unknown amount of loot, police said.

He last hit on Saturday, scooping up cash from the register inside Astoria Laundry on 24th Avenue after sneaking in via a side window sometime between midnight and 5:30 a.m., authorities said.

The Bronx

The pickpocket plucked an iPhone from a straphanger in Fordham Manor, police said.

He snagged the pricy smartphone from a woman at 8 a.m. July 11 when the northbound D train they were aboard came to a stop at the Kingsbridge Road station on Grand Concourse, police said.

Surveillance footage recorded the suspect sprinting through a turnstile.

Brooklyn

A career criminal was gunned down and another man was injured when gunfire erupted in Crown Heights, authorities said.

Thomas Martin, 25, and a 24-year-old pal were walking along St. Johns Place near Schenectady Avenue at 7:34 p.m. Tuesday when an assailant wearing a black hoodie approached from behind and opened fire, cops said.

Martin was shot in the chest and other victim was struck in the right leg.

Both were taken to Kings County Hospital, where Martin died and his friend was listed in stable condition.

Martin had 18 prior arrests, including busts for assault, drug sales and trespassing, cops said.

A Brighton Beach man practicing black magic was viciously attacked by his pipe-wielding neighbor, authorities said.

Mohammed Amjad was performing a smoky ritual in a communal bathroom in the alleyway behind 2950 Brighton First St. at about 6:20 p.m. July 17 when a neighbor, Fayyaz Ahmed, 51, confronted him, court documents state.

Amjad stepped outside the restroom and shoved Ahmed when he came too close, police said. Ahmed then allegedly brandished a metal pipe and brutally beat Amjad, injuring his knee, thumb and forearm.

Amjad quickly called 911 and police arrested Ahmed on charges of felony assault, menacing and weapons possession.

Amjad was treated at and released from Coney Island Hospital.

Cops are seeking the group of hooligans who robbed a woman of her iPad and assaulted a man who came to her aid in Bedford-Stuyvesant.

The suspect pictured and five other teenagers grabbed the tablet from the 24-year-old victim after they surrounded her in the Ralph Avenue subway station at Fulton Street at about 8:05 p.m. July 16, police said.

A 25-year-old good Samaritan was beaten when he chased after the punks in a failed attempt to reclaim the iPad, police added.
