Now you can own a fancy Hamptons house from the hit series “Revenge” for a fraction of the cost.
Only problem is the house — like the series set in the fabulous neighborhood out East — is not in the Hamptons.
Up for sale is the actual beach-front house that vengeful socialite Emily Thorne rents in her plot to get back at the people she believes responsible for her father’s death.
The house is in a beachy town in North Carolina called Southport and the owners have just cut the asking price from $2.4 million to just more than $1.5 million. The same size house in the Hamptons would go for $400,000 more, according to the real-estate Web site Zillow. Much more if it were on the beach.
“Revenge” is shot about as far from the real Hamptons as you can get — Manhattan Beach, Calif., just outside LA.
