TENNIS, ANDY RODDICK VS. NOVAK DJOKOVIC, BRAVO

Roddick won his opening-round match yesterday to set up the first marquee tennis match of the Olympics. As a price for being unseeded, Roddick will face 2011 Wimbledon champion Novak Djokovic. “That’s my own fault,” Roddick said after beating Slovakia’s Martin Klizan. “It’s tough. SWIMMING, MEN’S 200-METER BUTTERFLY FINAL, NBC PRIMETIME

Michael Phelps could become the most-decorated Olympian in history tonight if he is able to win the 200-meter butterfly final and claim his 19th medal, breaking gymnast Larisa Latynina’s record. He may also take part in the 4x200M freestyle relay, a chance to team with Ryan Lochte to avenge Sunday’s disappointing finish in the 4x100M relay.

GYMNASTICS, WOMEN’S TEAM FINAL, NBC PRIMETIME

The United States’ Jordyn Wieber may not have qualified for the individual all-around competition, but she can help lead the U.S. to the women’s team final today. The Americans are coming off a silver medal to host China in the 2008 Beijing Games, but this year’s squad is considered one of the best in U.S. gymnastics history.
