Together again

Tom Arnold made a surprise appearance Saturday night at the taping of ex-wife Roseanne Barr’s Comedy Central roast in LA — the first time the battling heavyweights have been in the same room in 18 years.

“I am not here to tear Roseanne a new one because, quite frankly, I have seen the old one,” Arnold told the roast. “And it is spectacular!

“When I was with Roseanne, she had 27 personalities. And only two of them liked me. One was a small German boy.

“She may not be the perfect wife, but she is literally the worst f – – – – – g ex-wife on the planet. Trust me.”

Barr got in a few zingers of her own, too.

“I am glad you have a new wife, Tom,” she said.

“I hope she isn’t just with you for your money — I mean my money.”

Arnold — who was married to Roseanne from 1990 to 1994 — shocked the crowd when he walked onstage just minutes before the show was set to end.

Originally, Arnold was the one person Roseanne refused to allow on the dais for the roast that airs Sunday.

But, according to sources, she changed her mind at the last minute.

“It was a good chance to show people how to move past old s – – -,” she told The Post backstage. “It was fantastic. I am glad he came.”
