Yer out! Met cop Citi ban

An NYPD cop can kiss Citi Field goodbye.

A Queens judge yesterday banned Eduardo Cornejo from the Mets’ stadium for a year after he pleaded guilty to taking a better, vacant, seat while watching the Amazin’s play the Cincinnati Reds in May.

Cornejo, 30, also must perform three days’ community service and was hit with $120 in fines. He had faced up to a year in jail.

The seven-year veteran from Brooklyn’s 67th Precinct — who was off duty at the time of his arrest — moved from his nosebleed seats to the much closer Party City Deck, which offers food and beverage packages in left field for tickets in the $100 to $200 range.

A guest-services agent spotted him and demanded he leave. Cornejo refused, and a security guard called over an NYPD sergeant, who handcuffed him.

The Staten Island resident declined to comment yesterday.
