Abby’s road to Joffrey

‘Dance Moms‘ doyenne Abby Lee Miller has tapped into her own spinoff.

The brassy, hoarse-voiced Miller will be the lead judge on “Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition,” in which 12 young dancers will compete for a $100,000 grand prize — and a scholarship to the Joffrey Ballet School in Manhattan.

Like “Dance Moms,” the series will air on Lifetime and will premiere this fall with host Kevin Manno (MTV’s “The Seven”).

Miller will be joined by fellow judges Robin Antin, who founded the Pussycat Dolls, and choreographer Richard Jackson, who’s worked with Lady Gaga.

The 10-episode series, which has begun shooting at the Los Angeles Theatre, will feature dancers between the ages of 6 and 13.

Each of the 12 dancers will be coached by his or her mother — who’ll be responsible for the choreography, costumes and music.

As per the standard reality format, one contestant will be eliminated each week.

“Dance Moms” has finished filming the second half of its second season, which is currently airing Tuesday nights. The series is expected to be renewed for a third go-round.

It’s already spawned one spinoff, “Dance Moms: Miami,” which aired last spring. (Miller didn’t appear in that show.)
