Twitter gives up ID of massacre-plan nut

Take that, Twitter!

The NYPD yesterday forced the social-media giant to hand over information about the nut-job tweeter who threatened to recreate the Colorado massacre at a Broadway theater.

After receiving a subpoena from the Manhattan DA’s Office, Twitter caved and revealed details to help identify the kooky creep, whose tweet handle is @obamasmistress, law-enforcement sources told The Post.

The twisted tweeter had targeted the Longacre Theatre on West 48th Street, where former heavyweight boxing champ Mike Tyson is appearing in a one-man show, “Undisputed Truth.’’

“This s–t ain’t no joke yo — I’m serious, people are gonna die like Aurora,’’ the numbskull tweeted, referring to “The Dark Knight Rises’’ movie-premiere slaughter, which killed 12 and injured 58 in the Denver suburb last month.

As first reported by The Post, Twitter refused to identify the tweeter, saying the threats, which surfaced Friday, didn’t meet its threshold of being “present, specific and immediate.’’

The company wouldn’t comment on its change of heart. The account has since been disabled.

An NYPD spokesman declined to say whether the tweeter has been identified, adding only, “The investigation is ongoing.’’

Last night, two cops were still posted in the theater’s lobby, and a patrol car was parked outside.

Some jittery ticket-buyers demanded and got their money back because of the threats.

The tweeter, who went by the name “Anonymous Celebrity,’’ also posted a hit list targeting such top celeberities as Justin Bieber, Chris Brown, Rihanna and Kristen Stewart.
