“i ♥ Vermont’’ is one Brooklynite’s slogan.

Michael Comeau lost his camera in an Adirondack creek three years ago.

It was found by John Noerr of Vermont, who looked at the memory card and realized most of the 581 shots had been taken in New York City.

In some photos, he noticed a street sign and an address on a nearby building, then checked records to find the owner.

“I was amazed that it happened,’’ Comeau told Weird but True, but added he was not surprised the work had been done by a Vermonter.

“I used to spend time in Vermont,’’ he said. “The people there are very generous and very helpful.’’
