A man posing as a good Samaritan offered to help a drunk 28-year-old to her Greenwich Village apartment — where, she told cops, he put her on a couch and sodomized her.
The victim had gotten out of a cab sometime after 2:30 a.m. yesterday, but was so unsteady on her feet, she sat down on a bench, a police source said. A stranger she described as a middle aged Asian about 5-foot-9 offered to help her home.
She accepted, and when she opened her apartment door, she said, he followed her in and attacked her.
Another woman who lives in the building recalled that in February, she had a scary encounter with a man who followed her home in the predawn hours.
“I turned around and shouted ‘What the f–k are you doing! Get the f–k away from me!’ ” she said.
“He freaked me out. I was super aggressive with him, so he ran.’’
