The post-Olympics ratings torch has dimmed a bit for NBC’s “Today” show.
ABC’s “Good Morning America” has beaten “Today” two out of three days this week — regaining its mojo after being flattened by “Today’s” Olympics-fueled ratings the past several weeks.
While “Today” beat “GMA” this past Monday — the morning after the closing ceremonies in London — “GMA” rebounded, beating “Today” on Tuesday (by 186,000 total viewers) and Wednesday (by 517,000 viewers).
And, on Wednesday, “GMA” beat “Today” in the money morning of adults 25-54 (by 178,000 viewers).
Last week, “Today” beat “GMA” by 1.5 million viewers as the games in London entered the home stretch.
