Joker Roker on ‘fire’

Apparently, Al Roker misses Ann Curry.

The “Today” show weatherman made an on-air quip yesterday about the former co-host’s recent firing.

Roker, Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie and Tamron Hall were doing a segment with members of the US Women’s rowing team.

Wrapping up, Lauer asked the team’s coxswain about the tradition of throwing her into the water after winning a race.

“Which is different than our tradition, which is you throw one of us under the bus, but that’s another story,” Roker said to shocked looks from his co-hosts.

Lauer, recovering, playfully chided, “Mr. Roker!”

Guthrie — who replaced Curry in June — said the same thing.

Lauer pushed NBC brass to dump Curry after ratings fell and rival ABC’s “Good Morning America” beat “Today” for the first time in more than 15 years, Vanity Fair reported.

Curry became co-host last June.
