A woman barely managed to fend off a rape attempt by two teenagers who had followed her into her Harlem apartment building, authorities said.

José Maldonado and Freddy Guzman, both 18, threw the woman to the floor after she opened the door to her apartment at about 3:20 a.m. on Aug. 2, court documents state.

Guzman stood by as Maldonado forced himself on top of the woman and began molesting her, according to the documents.

But when she bit Maldonado on the lip, he and Guzman fled, the court records claim.

The two teens were arrested and charged with attempted rape, burglary and sexual abuse.

Cops are looking for two armed men who literally kicked in the door to a Washington Heights apartment and stole money from the occupants.

The thugs (pictured at left) knocked on the door at about 10 a.m. Wednesday, police said.

When a tenant opened it with the chain lock secured, the robbers kicked in the door, took cash and fled, cops added.

The tenants said they were not acquainted with the robbers.

And it was not clear why the two targeted that apartment, police said.

No injuries were reported.

Cops are looking for three men who broke into an Inwood apartment, tied up its three tenants and stole their cash.

The robbers brandished guns during the break-in at the building on Seaman Avenue at 10:30 p.m. on Aug. 10, police reported.

The trio (pictured at left) trussed up a 23-year-old man, a 25-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman while ransacking the apartment, the cops added.

No injuries were reported.

One suspect is believed to be in his late 20s and 5-foot-11, another in his early 20s and 6 feet tall.

The third is thought to be in his early 30s, stand about 5-foot-10 and weigh 200 pounds.

A man was shot dead in an apartment complex in East New York early yesterday.

Cops responding to a 911 call of a shooting at the Pink Houses on Linden Boulevard at about 1:45 a.m. found the 28-year-old man wounded in the head and leg.

He was pronounced dead at Brookdale Hospital.

No arrest had been made as of last night.

Cops withheld the man’s name pending family notification.

A woman was raped in East New York by a man who had struck up a conversation and lured her to a remote area, police said.

The suspect (pictured above), believed to be in his 20s, approached the 28-year-old woman near Fulton and Hemlock streets at about 3:30 a.m. Wednesday and took her to an isolated spot on Hemlock Street, the cops added.

The woman was taken to an area hospital, where she was treated and released, police said.

The suspect is believed to stand 5-foot-10 and weigh about 175 pounds.

A motorist whom a cop had just pulled over in Sunset Park was arrested after showing a fake driver’s license from Mexico and a bogus New York state ID card, cops said.

Norberto Amador Huerta, 38, was pulled over at the corner of Fourth Avenue and 38th Street at about 9:40 a.m. on Aug. 1 after he made a turn without signaling, police said.

He gave the officer the documents, and a computer check quickly proved them to be phony, according to police.

He was charged with criminal possession of forged instruments and operating an unregistered vehicle.

The Bronx

A Mace-wielding thief posing as a customer sprayed a worker at a Hunts Point store and stole two cellphones, authorities said.

David Gonzalez, 36, walked into a store near Hunts Point and Lafayette avenues at about 6:10 p.m. on Aug. 8 and asked to see two smartphones, court records state.

When the employee placed the devices on the counter, Gonzalez sprayed the worker, grabbed the phones and fled, the documents show.

The worker suffered minor facial and eye injuries, the papers state.

Gonzalez was busted on a slew of charges, including robbery, burglary, assault, menacing, petit larceny, criminal possession of stolen property and harassment.
