Stab-fire ‘slayer’s sex rap

The Long Island man charged with stabbing his wife to death and setting her on fire atop their bed had been estranged from her ever since he was arrested in April on a charge of sexually abusing a minor, sources said.

Loventino Cassadean, now charged with second-degree murder, could be hit with a first-degree slay rap if an autopsy shows Felicia Cassadean was alive when she was torched.

A handcuffed Cassadean gave reporters a stony glare yesterday morning — keeping silent as they shouted questions at him — when Nassau County homicide detectives walked him out of Police Headquarters in Mineola.

Felicia, 22, was the mom of Cassadean’s 2-year-old child and a 5-year-old.

Detective Lt. John Azzata, Nassau Homicide Squad chief, said Cassadean was busted in April on a charge of performing oral sex on a girl under the age of 17, apparently on the same bed where he allegedly torched his wife Monday.
