Charlotte Ronson

It was a packed house today at Charlotte Ronson, and after seeing her show, it became very clear why. Ronson’s collection totally blew me away. It was jam-packed with so many amazing elements to look at that at one point my brain started to explode with excitement — especially due to Samantha Ronson’s killer DJ set.

Her Spring line — inspired by the ocean — was filled with a soft color palette, lots of netting, leather and even plastic. Models wore their hair down, going very nicely with the laid back feel of the clothes.

I was especially drawn to the midriff tops with high necklines, particularly ones made of leather, reminding me of the best part of ’90s style.

Cutout shoulders displaying a different fabric than the rest of the outfit caught my eye, as did the clear and colored plastic jackets. These elements added an edgier tone to the show, which seemed to nicely juxtapose her other items.

All in all, this whole collection was wearable and versatile, but all the while never straying from the oceanic theme of the show.

So basically, take me to the tropics with a bag filled with Charlotte Ronson’s spring line!
