Mayor Bloomberg has selected his candidate in the presidential race — but he’s not ready to make it public.
“I know who I will vote for,” Bloomberg declared today in response to a reporter’s question about whether he’s among the small group of undecided voters.
But when asked if he intended to make a public endorsement, the mayor told reporters they’d have to wait and see.
Both President Obama and Republican challenger Mitt Romney had been courting Bloomberg.
The mayor said that while most voters seem to have made up their minds, studies show some “could be tempted to change.”
“It’s still a real horse race,” he said, a conclusion that would be hard to dispute two months before Election Day.
