Hottest designers stamp your fashion passport!

A whole new trend is emerging with the spring shows: dressing like you’re from somewhere else.

Tory Burch envisioned her girl on a trek to Eastern lands, where the former Upper East Side prepster lets her inner hippie out to play. Think tie-dye sundresses, embroidered sweaters and skirts, pompom necklaces, loafers with hand-woven fabric and purses sourced from a fabulous souk somewhere on Madison Avenue.

VERA WANG

Vera Wang found her inspiration in India, from where she borrowed crisp cottons, silk prints and some traditional jacket and tunic details and turned them into one of her most romantic collections to date. Vests over sweeping full hemlines, tulip-skirted dresses and her beloved bike shorts. Evening had slips of lace in Jaipur jewel colors, crusted with gold embroidery — an embarrassment of riches.

For Rodarte, the Mulleavy sisters went even further afield: Dungeons & Dragons, or more specifically ’80s fantasy games. And indeed it looked like “Game of Thrones” through the “Star Trek” portal: futuristic-looking grommeted leather pants with graphic silk blouses or dresses in a collage of metallic brocades, all finished with metal dragon earrings and chunky platforms that appeared computer generated. Game over.
