Kate’s made in the shade

She’s a real ray of sunshine.

With parasol in hand, Kate Middleton pays her respects to fallen Allied heroes of World War II at a Singapore cemetery yesterday.

The Duchess of Cambridge and her husband, Prince William, laid a wreath on behalf of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip at the memorial in the Kranji Commonwealth War Cemetery.

The royal couple was winding up a three-day tour of Singapore, which began at the Botanic Gardens to view orchids, including one named after Princess Diana.

Afterward, they moved on to Malaysia, where Kate gave her first speech on foreign soil.
