Florida often feels like an extension of New York City in December. So it’s appropriate that this year’s Palm Beach Food & Wine Festival features Daniel Boulud, David Burke, Marc Murphy and Jacques Torres cooking at a tribute dinner honoring Le Cirque’s Sirio Maccioni. That dinner, held at the iconic Breakers resort, is just one of the marquee events at the Dec. 7-11 festival. “Top Chef” winner Stephanie Izard of Chicago’s Girl and the Goat will participate in a rotisserie showdown on the patio of Pistache French Bistro’s patio. There’s a burger event at the Four Seasons (the festival’s host hotel) with Food Network’s Robert Irvine and Richard Blais and Kevin Sbraga of “Top Chef” fame. And local star Clay Conley of Buccan hosts a dinner with chefs including Birmingham’s Chris Hastings, Miami’s Jeff McInnis and San Francisco pastry wizard turned Brooklyn pizza slinger Elizabeth Falkner (pbfwf.com).
