Johnny Depp’s in fighting form as Tonto on the set of “The Lone Ranger,” but there’s no silver bullet in sight to help him during a fight scene in the western on Thursday when he and the Lone Ranger are both chained atop a train.
Depp takes on the role of the Native American companion while Armie Hammer has the title role as the legendary masked man who, with Tonto’s help, together rode the plains searching for truth and justice.
The Disney film, directed by Gore Verbinski, arrives in theaters in 2013.
