Jets blitz

HERO

The Steelers couldn’t do anything in the running game, but that didn’t matter thanks to a masterful performance from Ben Roethlisberger (below), who went 24-for-31 for 275 yards and two touchdowns. Roethlisberger also avoided several sacks, extending plays to either hit open receivers or at least get rid of the ball and avoid a loss.

ZERO

LaRon Landry committed personal foul penalties on back-to-back Steelers drives, helping Pittsburgh advance deep into Jets territory with each. Both possessions ended in Steelers touchdowns that helped put the game out of reach.

UNSUNG HERO

Antonio Brown didn’t wind up with a highlight-reel touchdown catch like teammate Mike Wallace, but was very effective for the Steelers. Brown finished with seven catches for 79 yards, and also ran the ball once for 9 yards.

KEY STAT

3 Offensive plays, all in the second half, that Tim Tebow was on the field for. He broke off a 22-yard run on his first play, then handed off to Joe McKnight for a 12-yard gain before handing off to Shonn Greene for a 6-yard loss.
