Nets to star on NBA TV

The Nets are bringing everyone along for the ride through their first season in Brooklyn.

The NBA announced Wednesday the upcoming Nets season will be chronicled on NBA TV’s “The Association.” The show, which The Post reported back in July would feature the Nets this year, will go behind the scenes to show how the Nets handle the transition to Brooklyn and the brand-new Barclays Center after spending the past 35 years in New Jersey.

The Nets are the fourth team to be featured on the show, after the Lakers in 2009-10, the Celtics in 2010-11 and Nuggets last season.

“I think it’s great that the NBA will be documenting our inaugural season in Brooklyn as part of The Association,” Nets point guard Deron Williams said in a statement.

“As we make history bringing a professional sports team to Brooklyn, fans will get to have an inside look. Our new home, the borough of Brooklyn, will provide a great backdrop for the series, and I think people are going to be pretty excited with their exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the new arena.”
