A Nevada man who lost his iPad on a plane used an app called Find My iPad to locate it — in the Oregon home of a Horizon Air flight attendant, police said yesterday.
Wendy Ronelle Dye, 43, was arrested Friday in Oregon City, outside Portland.
She told cops that a passenger had turned the tablet over to her after finding it on a seat and that she was planning to turn it in to airport officials.
But probers found such personal information as her husband’s birthday reminder already added to it.
A spokeswoman for Alaska Airlines, which owns Horizon, yesterday said Dye has been suspended.
