Dish-ing dirt on cable

Space is the final frontier for Patrick Stewart’s TV.

The newly arrived Brooklyn resident says he signed up for satellite television — after receiving appalling service from Time Warner Cable.

“Thank you @dish for rescuing us from the Faustian @TWCable_NYC with your prompt and professional service,” Stewart, 72, who played Capt. Jean-Luc Picard on “Star Trek: The Next Generation,” posted yesterday on his Twitter account.

On Sept. 13, the new Park Slope resident complained:

“All I wanted to do was set up a new account with @TWCable_NYC but 36hrs later I’ve lost the will to live.” he posted on Sept. 13.

Quipped John Hall, a DISH spokesman, “When Capt. Jean-Luc Picard, who has mastered space, the final frontier, likes our satellite service, that’s something special.”

“We’re sorry that he had a bad experience and we wish him the best,” said Time Warner spokesman Bobby Amirshahi.

Stewart, 72, recently moved to Park Slope and has been spotted at Brooklyn Fish Camp and Zito’s Sandwich Shoppe among other neighborhood spots.
