Bam’s Late Show lunacy: world burns as he chats

The Issue: Obama’s appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman amid turmoil in the Middle East.

President Obama says he works for everyone (“Trim Obama Weighs in on Letterman,” Sept. 19).

What a lie; middle-class taxpayers work for everybody. Almost half of the people are living off of the taxpayers.

The government takes it from us and dishes it out. That’s not work.

I guess going to fundraisers with Hollywood folks at $40,000 a pop is work.

Over 20 US embassies have been attacked, yet he has time for David Letterman but not the prime minister of Israel.

Obama doesn’t work for me; if he did, I’d fire him.

The president goes on Letterman, and when asked if he knew what the deficit was when he took office, Obama claimed he didn’t know.

Does this man take us all for a bunch of fools?

Why would Obama go on Letterman when the Middle East is burning? He seems unconcerned about brewing hatred for himself and our country.

While Letterman isn’t above dating his crew, Obama isn’t beneath doing anything to get a vote.

Obama says: “One of the things I learned as president is you represent the entire country.”

I guess that’s why he steps on non-union members, stuffs the pockets of the Environmental Protection Agency, doesn’t meet with Republicans and attends every liberal campaign dinner on the planet.

Some people say that he is a nice guy, but there’s nothing nice about phoniness and failed promises.

His smile is borrowed laminations from speech writers.

Throughout his presidency, Obama has cared more about being liked than being bold.

He is too afraid to stand up to our enemies, and as a result, our national security is at risk.

Innocent Americans are being killed in the Middle East, and Obama has done nothing to severely punish these acts of terror.

He should spend less time on Letterman and more time keeping the country safe.
