Indian police in Srinagar on Wednesday used batons to disperse a sit-in protest by female Kashmiri nursing students outside the old secretariat complex. People take part in an emergency drill where an airplane is forced to land in the Yangtze River in Shanghai, China. Over 150 volunteers attended the 40-minute drill. It is the first of such exercise in China. The life-size plane was built specifically for the exercise.
