S. Brook overruns Army

Senior Miguel Maysonet rushed for a career-high 220 yards and two touchdowns, and Stony Brook dominated Army 23-3 yesterday in West Point, N.Y., to notch its first victory against a Football Bowl Subdivision team.

Kyle Essington finished 11-for-15 passing for 151 yards for the Seawolves (4-1), and Kevin Norrell added 95 receiving yards in the wire-to-wire win. The Seawolves recovered all four Army (0-4) fumbles and converted 11 of 17 third downs.

Connecticut 24, Buffalo 7

In East Hartford, Conn., Lyle McCombs and Martin Hyppolite combined for 157 yards rushing and two touchdowns to lead Connecticut (3-2) over Buffalo (1-3).

Wagner 31, Bryant 21

In Staten Island, Nick Doscher passed for two touchdowns and ran for two more to lead Wagner (2-3, 2-1 NEC) past Bryant (0-5, 0-3).

Lehigh 34, Fordham 31

In Bethlehem, Pa., Jake Peery kicked a 22-yard field goal as time expired to lift Lehigh(5-0) over Fordham (3-2), which got 373 passing yards and two TDs from Ryan Higgins.

Princeton 33, Columbia 6

In Manhattan, Anthony Gaffney returned the opening kickoff 94 yards for a touchdown and Princeton (1-2, 1-0 Ivy League) beat Columbia (1-2, 0-1).

Jacksonville 26, Marist 14

In Jacksonville, Fla., Colby Walden returned a kickoff a school-record 99 yards for a touchdown in the fourth quarter as Jacksonville (4-1, 2-0 Pioneer League) came from behind to defeat Marist (2-3, 1-1), extending the nation’s longest active home winning streak to 16 games.
