A man was killed by a tractor trailer this morning while crossing the street in Midtown, authorities said.
Ken Baker, 26, was walking on 6th Avenue near West 47th Street around 3:45 a.m. when the large truck collided with him, police said.
The truck, which had no trailer attached, was making a left turn onto West 47th Street at the time of the accident, police said. The driver stayed at the scene and police do not suspect any criminality.
The victim, a Binghamton resident, was rushed to Bellevue Hospital where he later died from his injuries, police said.
