A drunken fiend allegedly broke into a Queens building yesterday and molested a sleeping toddler, authorities said.
The parents put their 3-year-old to bed at about midnight, and an hour and half later the father awoke to a tapping noise coming from his daughter’s room, cops said.
What he found was every parent’s worst nightmare. An intoxicated perv was asleep in his child’s bed, cops said.
The stunned dad roused the intruder and quickly kicked him out of the house in Jamaica, cops said.
The hysterical mother screamed when she discovered that the little girl’s underwear had been taken off, cops said. The toddler told her parents that she was touched on her backside, police sources said.
By then the creep was long gone.
“It’s heart-wrenching. We live here. We have children, too,” said neighbor Radha Persaud, 38. “It’s very shocking.”
The little girl showed no obvious signs of abuse, but was taken to Jamaica Hospital for an examination, police said.
There were no signs of forced entry into the home, and police said it was possible the front door had been left open.
“That door is always open,” said neighbor Albert Goldson.
