The action-packed trailer for next summer’s highly anticipated movie “The Lone Ranger” is out.
Armie Hammer, who plays the title character, debuted the clip on last night’s “Tonight Show.”
The first look at footage from the Gore Verbinski film features gunplay, explosions and speeding trains, not to mention a few shots of Johnny Depp as the Lone Ranger’s sidekick Tonto.
“There come a time,” Depp says, “when good men must wear masks.”
The Disney film, which was briefly shutdown due to its skyrocketing budget and more recently made headlines for the death of a crew member on set, is slated to hit theaters on July 3, 2013.
