150G for Vito att’y

It’s costing Vito Lopez a bundle to defend himself against sex-harassment charges.

Records made public yesterday show the embattled Brooklyn assemblyman sent $150,000 from his campaign account to Gerald Lefcourt, a criminal-defense lawyer, on Sept. 5.

Twelve days earlier, Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver stripped Lopez of most of his powers as he released a bombshell report accusing the former Brooklyn Democratic leader of harassing two female staffers.

Lopez has denied the allegations and has rebuffed demands that he resign from the Assembly.

Lefcourt has represented Lopez since 2010, long before there was any public hint that the lawmaker was dealing with two separate accusations of harassment lodged by four women.

Lopez has now paid him a total of $239,703 from his campaign account — which still has $1,074,008 left.
