A man zooming through a toll booth on the Whitestone Bridge headed for Queens caused an 8 car pileup after he swerved out of control sending himself and several motorists to the hospital, cops said.
Two of the 7 injured were listed in critical condition last night, EMS and cops said.
The 47 year-old man was driving at a “High rate of speed” in his 2006 BMW and first struck three vehicles before the domino effect unfolded around 10:55 p.m. last night, cops said.
All southbound lanes were closed for four hours.
It was unclear if the driver will be summonsed but he is listed in stable condition at an area hospital, cops said.
