Talk about a zinger.
Chris Rock zapped David Blaine with more than jokes during the daredevil’s latest stunt — using a computer hookup to shoot him with volts of electricity.
The comic was among dozens of passers-by Friday night who pressed a button controlling the timing and intensity of power surges from one of seven Tesla coils connected to Blaine’s chain-mail body suit.
Actors Woody Harrelson and Alicia Silverstone also stopped by Pier 54 in Chelsea but declined to charge him, said Blaine’s publicist.
Luke Alexander, 8, of Harlem, zapped Blaine yesterday, then said, “Awesome! He knows magic really well, so I wasn’t worried. I wouldn’t do this, though — it seems really dangerous!”
Blaine, who has passed ongoing mental and physical exams so far, intends to stay awake 72 hours, or until the stunt ends tomorrow night.
“We’re watching him closely,” said his doctor, Stuart Weiss.
