Julianne Moore’s contractor and plumber agree to help in stolen jewelry theft probe

Julianne Moore’s contractor and plumber yesterday said they’ll cooperate in the probe of the theft of $127,000 worth of jewelry from the actress’s West Village townhouse — and that they know nothing about missing bling.

“My employees have been with me a long time, I trust them implicitly,” said Darren Lundin, whose Queens plumbing company was one of several firms that work on Moore’s home between June 6 and Aug. 28, when the jewels — including a $33,000 Cartier tennis bracelet — were swiped. Lundin said cops haven’t contacted him, but that he has records ready to give investigators of the “dates and times” his workers were there.

Contractor Jesse Robertson-Tait, said he didn’t take the treasure, and noted there were “a lot of people coming in and out of the building” during the construction.

“But I didn’t see anything suspicious,” he added.

Moore declined comment on the theft yesterday as she left her house for a hair appointment.

Cops said at least 20 people had worked on the construction at the home.

The theft was reported earlier this week by Moore’s longtime assistant, Vanessa King, who declined comment.

A source said that — after filing a report about the missing gems — Moore’s camp called and asked that actress’s director husband, Bart Freundlich, be named in the report instead of instead of Moore. But the paperwork had already been filed.
