Giants report card

OFFENSE

Ahmad Bradshaw came into the game with 133 rushing yards all season and finished with a career-high 200 on 30 carries, plus a TD. Did he come back from fumbling on his first touch, or what? Great blocking. David Wilson showed what the fuss is about with jet-quick 40-yard TD. Welcome-to-NFL game for Rueben Randle (6-82). Oh yeah, almost forgot Victor Cruz’s three TDs and Eli Manning’s pinpoint accuracy. A+

DEFENSE

Stevie Brown in first Giants start got beat on a 62-yard TD, but came back with key INT and fumble recovery. Rough going early dealing with talented rookie Trent Richardson (17-81, 1 TD). Pass rush still a myth with no heat on Brandon Weeden. Not a single sack but some pass deflections late. B

SPECIAL TEAMS

Dangerous Josh Cribbs had a 74-yard kickoff return for Browns, who did not allow David Wilson to hurt them in the return game. Bad idea by Andre Brown to take the ball out of end zone and he suffered a head injury on the play. Will Hill forced Cribbs fumble that Brown recovered. B

COACHING

After hearing all week from Tom Coughlin how the Giants weren’t to overlook the winless Browns that was some horrid start, down 14-0 in a flash. Perry Fewell has been unable to figure out a way to generate some heat on opposing QBs. Play-calling gets easier for Kevin Gilbride when run game generates seven yards per attempt. B
