The creator of a blog documenting bad things about being a Hollywood assistant has sold it as a TV show.
The heretofore anonymous Lauren Bachelis sold a sitcom to CBS based on her blog, Hollywood Assistants, which she created five months ago.
Bachelis, who vowed to remain anonymous until she had a TV deal, will write the series, tentatively entitled “20-Nothings,” according to deadline.com.
The series will focus on five 20-somethings “living in Los Angeles who do whatever it takes to achieve their Hollywood dreams,” according to the site.
Bachelis worked at talent agency CAA and also worked for a short time as an assistant to “New Girl” creator/executive producer Liz Meriweather.
Fred Savage will produce the pilot.
