Cops identified a suspect today wanted in the slay of a man outside a Lower East Side barber shop.
Police are looking for Joshua Nunez, 21, in the murder of Charles Fernandez, 29, who was fatally shot in the chest at around 9:30 p.m. Saturday after a fight inside of Jose Beauty Salon and Barber Shop on Forsyth Street, cops said.
Fernandez, who lived nearby on Mott Street, took a cab to Bellevue Hospital, and succumbed to his injuries, authorities said.
The two knew each other before the brawl, police sources said.
Nunez has an extensive criminal background, including arrests for reckless endangerment, drug-impaired driving, criminal mischief, and disorderly conduct, sources added.
