Thousands of tickets for yesterday’s American League Championship Series home opener against the Detroit Tigers were still available on StubHub hours before the big game — and some were infield-dirt cheap.
Just before yesterday’s Game 1, there were 4,755 tickets still available for as low as $25 a pop.
At one point during the day, prices on the site dropped to $14 a ducat.
The secondary market also was flooded with tickets for today’s game, with 9,433 still unsold last night and the lowest ones costing only $34.
