Cops are looking for the the man (police sketch above) who allegedly sexually abused a young girl at a library in Flushing.

The 10-year-old girl was in the Pomonok branch of the Queens Borough Public Libray on Jewel Avenue at 4 p.m. Monday when the the suspect groped her, cops said.

The suspected perv is believed to be in his late 20s, 5-foot-10 and 200 pounds, police said.

Three scammers set up a bogus company in Midtown and bilked job seekers by claiming to offer “required” training for jobs as security guards, prosecutors allege.

Rosemond Bottex, 37, Jerry Owens, 48, and Stephen Baptiste, 29, placed ads on Craigslist offering security jobs upon completion of classes, court papers state.

The con artists claimed to run a licensed security-training program through “Allianz Security Protection,” the papers state.

The recruits were promised that they would be hired soon after completing “required” classes, prosecutors said.

The fake school charged job seekers up to $1,340 apiece for security “training” at offices on West 49th Street near Eighth Avenue, then sent out the victims for nonexistent security jobs, court documents allege.

The fraudsters refused to refund the victims any money, the court documents state.

The three suspects were charged with scheming to defraud, prosecutors said.

A pedestrian made a tragic decision to walk into traffic on the FDR Drive in Harlem, police said.

The 44-year-old victim was trying to cross the highway at East 131st Street at about 9 p.m. Monday when he was hit by a gray 2011 Toyota Sienna in the southbound lanes, cops added.

The man, whose name was withheld pending family notification, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

The driver remained at the scene while police investigated and no criminality was suspected, cops added.

Police are looking for two con artists who bilked an elderly woman out of $20,000 in Schuylerville, authorities said.

The two suspects, one in her mid-30s and the other in her mid-40s, targeted the 74-year-old victim on East Tremont Avenue at 10a.m. last Wednesday, police said.

The fraudsters told the woman that they had found a large sum of money and that if no one claimed it, the money would be theirs to keep, cops added.

They scammed the victim into thinking she could get in on the deal if she gave them a hefty “deposit,” police said.

The victim forked over the money and the thieves fled, cops said.

Both suspects stand about 5-foot-5 and weigh about 130 pounds, and wore black dress jackets and black pants, police said.

A drugstore employee was busted for illegally selling products to a friend at a deep discount in Brownsville, authorities said.

A security officer told cops that Rite Aid cashier Daquan Broomes, 18, rang up almost $90 worth of products at about 5:40 p.m. on Sept. 27, entered a fraudulent coupon code in the register and charged the friend a total of 10 cents, court papers state.

The next day, Broomes allegedly charged a friend less than $2 for a $100 purchase at about 6:40 p.m., sources said.

Broomes was charged with petit larceny, sources said.

An off-duty cop was arrested early yesterday following a Brooklyn Heights domestic dispute that turned violent, authorities said.

Ernest Volcy, 38, was collared at 3 a.m. after attacking a family member a few hours earlier, according to police.

The five-year veteran officer, assigned to a Brooklyn precinct, was slapped with a misdemeanor assault charge, cops said.

The body of a man in his 30s who apparently had been stabbed to death was found in a Williamsburg building, police said.

The body was discovered on the second floor of an abandoned building on South Fourth Street and Bedford Avenue at around 8:30 a.m. yesterday.

Blood was found around the body from a stab wound to the neck, cops added.

The building is a known hangout for squatters, police said.

An argument between acquaintances turned violent in a home in East New York, court records indicate.

Candy Francis, 31, allegedly attacked her pal in the home on Wyona Streetnear Hegeman Avenue at about 11:30 p.m. on Oct. 3, documents state.

Francis was arrested Thursday and charged with assault, menacing, criminal possession of a weapon and harassment, according to the records.

Cops said it wasn’t clear what sparked the attacker’s fury.
