Mitt Romney holds a 5-point lead over President Obama in the battleground state of Virginia as he stumps there today, according to a new poll.
The Roanoke College poll found Romney topping Obama by 49-44 percent among likely voters.
Romney had a 26-point lead among registered independents and wiped out the gender gap with Obama among women there.
But Obama also received good news in Wisconsin, where he led Romney 51-43, a Marquette University poll found.
In Ohio, a CNN poll yesterday gave Obama a 49-46 lead.
