A Michigan restaurateur hauled 20,000 pounds of salsa, hummus and chips to New Jersey to feed victims of Hurricane Sandy.

Dean “Dino” Bach drove 12 hours to bring in a load that also included 40 cases of dog food and 40,000 bottles of water.

“It was one of those things,” Bach told The Star-Ledger. “We said, ‘Let’s do it and let’s do it now.’ ”

A struggling California grandma is now rich after state lottery officials searched far and wide to pinpoint a $23 million winner just before her lucky ticket expired.

Julia Cervera, 69, of Victorville, stopped at a liquor store with daughter Charliena Marquez on May 30 and gave her cash to buy a lotto ticket. Then Julia stashed the ticket in her car and forgot about it.

Five months later, lottery officials using store surveillance video released pictures of Marquez buying the $23 million winner.

An Ohio woman dubbed the “cleaning fairy” pleaded guilty to attempted burglary, admitting she broke into a Cleveland home in June, cleaned it, and left a bill for $75.

The “fairy,” Susan Warren, said she “wanted something to do.”
