No ‘Saving’ this double DUI guy

A drunken driver in Ohio managed to get busted twice — blocks apart — at exactly the same time.

Blame Daylight Saving Time.

Niles Gammons, 22, was arrested at 1:08 a.m. Sunday morning when spotted driving his Oldsmobile the wrong way down a one-way alley in Urbana, police said.

After Gammons failed a Breathalyzer, his license was suspended and he was released.

At 2 a.m., clocks were set back an hour at the end of Daylight Saving Time.

So at 1:08 a.m. again, Gammons backed out rapidly from the municipal parking lot and nearly collided with the police cruiser of the same cop who had arrested him earlier, authorities said. He took another sobriety test and — guess what — was still over the legal limit. He was given a second drunk-driving citation, also dated 1:08 p.m.
