‘Fro-yo’ robber keeps coming back for more

He’s robbed the same Brooklyn frozen-yogurt shop three times — but, hey, at least he’s polite.

“The strange thing about him is that he comes back,” a police source said of the man who has pulled off a hat trick of heists at the Tasti D-Lite frozen-yogurt shop on Seventh Avenue in Park Slope. “It’s ridiculous.”

Another odd aspect of the repeat robber — who has also ripped off up to four Subway sandwich shops as well as ice-cream parlors and cleaners in Brooklyn in the last month alone — is his courtesy.

“He apologizes for robbing people,” the source said. “He’s very polite. He’s a polite robber.”

Tasti D-Lite owner Mayer Levy said the robber was “very calm” when he had a 26-year-old clerk surrender a total of nearly $1,000 over three visits, on Oct. 17, 26 and 31.

“He said, ‘I’m sorry. I hate to do this. I have a family to feed,’ ” Levy said.

But, Levy added, the robber’s chilling show of good manners just left the clerk “shaken up and hysterical.”

“I gave him two weeks off to clear his head,” Levy said. “I feel bad . . . It always happens to him.

The holdup man, whose photo was released by cops, “has been here three times,” said Levy, 35. “The fourth, we will be ready. I’m going to teach him a lesson and put him in his place . . . I have a hammer — it swings better — I will give him the money and then crack him over the head.”

The gunman’s other victims include Blue Marble Ice Cream in Cobble Hill, where he got $330 on Oct. 22.
