Three teens attacked a Bronx boy and stole his crucifix, police said today.
The thieves approached the 13-year-old about 4:15 p.m. Oct. 24 at the D-train stop on Norwood-205th Street, and one suspect punched the victim in the mouth, authorities said. The assailant then took the boy’s cross, which was on a gold chain.
Two other accomplices acted as lookouts during the beat-down before all three fled, police added.
All the suspects are in their teens, police said. One assailant who sported braids is believed to be 5-foot-11 and between 150 and 160 pounds, cops said.
The other two are between 5-foot-4 and 5-foot-6, and 120 to 135 pounds, cops added. None have been apprehended.
The victim was not seriously injured.
