Fancy Flea Market Fare

* from Scratch cat food

Brooklyn’s Smorgasburg Flea Market doesn’t just have pricey artisanal foodstuffs for humans. From Scratch cat food has a booth there offering gourmet wet cat food entrees made from fresh, locally sourced turkey meat, eggs from a local Amish farmer and seasonal produce like pumpkin and cranberries. “You can’t find a lot of places that sell wholesome cat food,” says Scratch co-owner Matt Rosenberg. “There is such a need for it and a lack of product.”

$3.85 for a 4-ounce biodegradable single -serving packet or $15 for a 16-ounce four-day serving in a mason jar; for locations, go to fromscratchpetfood.com

Gluten-Free Goodies

* Biscuits by Lambchop’s Allergy Free Dog Treats

Because dogs, not just trendy humans, can have wheat allergies and sensitivities, Biscuits by Lambchop offers treats made with garbanzo-bean flour, coconut oil and Greenmarket apples and honey. “Our philosophy is to feed real whole foods to support optimal body function and health,” says founder Annette Frey, who started making the treats after her dog, Lambchop, was diagnosed with gluten intolerance.

$8 for a 4-ounce bag of biscuits; available at biscuitsbylambchop.com

Nose to Tail Treats

* The Farm on Adderley’s beef liver dog treats

Nose-to-tail butchering — making use of as much of the animal as possible — has long been big on the restaurant scene, but New Brooklyn Cuisine stalwart the Farm on Adderley found it was hard to put all the cow parts to good use — at least for its human customers. The flavor of beef liver was just too “intense” to serve, says partner and chef Tom Kearney. So, he decided to dehydrate the livers to make gourmet dog treats. “I’ve never seen a dog react to a treat like they do with these,” he says. “Dogs go nuts over them.”

$5 for a ¼-pound bag; available at the The Farm on Adderley; 1108 Cortelyou Road, Brooklyn; 718-287-3101; thefarmonadderley.com

Foie Gras Pastries

* Bouchon Bakery’s Foie Gras Dog Biscuits

Thomas Keller and Co. have a way with fattened duck liver, as any human lucky enough to dine at Per Se will tell you. Fancy Fidos can get a taste for themselves with Bouchon Bakery’s decadent dog treats. No ordinary bones, they’re enriched with foie gras and chicken stock.

$2.70 a treat; available at Bouchon Bakery; 10 Columbus Circle; 212-823-9366

Green Super Food

* One Lucky Duck’s Green Mush

Because our beloved animals also need the vitamins and minerals offered by whole leaf wheat grass, burdock root, and Icelandic kelp, raw food store One Lucky Duck offers a Green Mush powder and other uber-healthy goodies for pets. Mix the powder — which also contains ingredients like carob pod and Nova Scotia dulse — with equal parts water and juice and add the mush to your dog or cat’s food. Smaller pets, like rats or hamsters, can just feast on the mush directly. “It’s sort of the equivalent to the ‘superfood’ green powders that people take,” says One Lucky Duck owner Sarma Melngailis. “It has a lot of probiotics, an important supplement missing in most pet diets.”

$25.95 for 5 oz.; available at One Lucky Duck, 125½ E. 17th St.; 212-255-4300
