Makeup company sues Ke$ha in glitter snit

This may be the first time pop star Ke$ha’s been accused of not being flashy enough.

The chart-topping singer failed to endorse a “body glitter” product after a cosmetic company paid her $250,000 in royalty fees, according to a lawsuit filed last week.

United Beauty Products claims it struck a one-year deal with the performer — and her TriBeCa-based firm, K$ Productions — to launch the shimmery lotion, lipstick and nail polish using the star’s image and dollar-sign logo in November 2011.

But the blond bombshell, famous for her hit tune “TiK ToK,” pulled out of the contract at the 11th hour — after the company had spent roughly $150,000 making the girly goodies, court papers state.

United Beauty Products is now seeking damages “in excess of $24 million” for lost profits and time, saying the singer “has no right to terminate the agreement.”

The firm had already trademarked the catch-phrase “FLASH IT. WINK IT” and had paid for samples, marketing and packaging, say the court papers, filed in California.

United Beauty Products attorney Robert Wilson — who filed the lawsuit in US District Court in San Jose, California on Nov. 5 — said, “My client suffered considerable damage.”

Ke$ha’s publicist, Amanda Silverman, declined to comment.

It’s not the first time the party girl — who has collaborated with Paris Hilton, Britney Spears and rapper Flo Rida — has been sued for allegedly flaky business moves. Her former managers slapped her with a $14million lawsuit for allegedly failing to honor a recording contract in 2010.
