Syracuse continued to clean up northeast recruiting yesterday when Roselle Catholic (N.J.) wing Tyler Roberson picked the Orange over Villanova and Kansas.
The 6-foot-8 forward, considered one of the top seniors in the nation by a variety of recruiting websites, joins Bronx native Chris McCullough of Brewster Academy (N.H.), St. Benedict’s Prep (N.J.) point guard Tyler Ennis, McCullough’s teammate at Brewster, shooting guard Ron Patterson, Philadelphia forward B.J. Johnson of Lower Merion and upstate forward Chinoso Obokoh in recent pledges.
