B’klyn shop owner slain

A Brooklyn clothing shop owner was shot dead inside his store last night — and cops are looking into whether his killing is related to a string of slayings that may have been based on the victim’s addresses, sources said.

The unidentified 78-year-old-man was pronounced dead after cops discovered him in the back of She She Boutique on Flatbush Avenue with a .22-caliber gunshot wound to the head.

Cops said he had been shot while at the counter and dragged into the back where the killer covered his body with clothes.

Sources said the killing bore similarity to two other murders of Brooklyn store owners that included a possible link to numerology and obsession with the numbers 1, 7 and 8.

On July 6, Mohammed Gebeli, 65 was found shot to death in his clothing store at 7718 Fifth Ave. On Aug. 2, police found Isaac Kadare, 59, dead in his Bensonhurst store at 1877 86th St.

The address of yesterday’s killing also included the number 8 — 834 Flatbush Ave. The earlier crimes were also committed with a .22-caliber handgun.
