This week’s couple: Game night

FOR THEIR DATE, Steven and Bea, both 26, attended a Brooklyn Nets game as VIPs at the brand new Barclays Center. The Nets mascot BrooklyKnight greeted them with gifts (T-shirts), and at halftime, they lounged in the Calvin Klein Courtside Club among celebrities. After the Nets won, did either Bea or Steve score with each other?

He said:

Bea looked great in person. For some reason, her hair stood out to me. She has really nice hair.

We were ushered into the VIP lounge area at Barclays where we had drinks and dessert. Our seats were amazing. The team mascot came up to us in the stands and gave us Brooklyn Nets T-shirts, which was awesome.

Bea was confident and spoke with ease. She also had a lot of positive energy. She ordered a beer instead of a cocktail, which was impressive. She asked for a piece of my cheesecake after taking some. I laughed at that one.

I almost forgot to get Bea’s number, for which she chided me, but she is interesting. Of course I’d like to see her again, that’s why I got her number.

She said:

Steven was laid back. I liked his look. He cares about self-presentation. The date was pretty relaxed, but his focus was more on what was around. Although, we were at a basketball game, so there were many things going on.

Steve can pick up a conversation and go with it. When he got comfortable, he showed his quirky side and different fun voices/characters.

The VIP area in the Barclays Center is very nice — definitely a different experience than a normal basketball game.

Steven tried to act like he forgot to ask for my number. But he did and I gave it to him. He also asked me to go to Target after we left the game. I thought it was funny, but, you know, that’s like a 10th date sort of thing, so we’ll see what happens.
