A deli worker was wounded during a shooting in Williamsbridge yesterday, authorities said.

An assailant opened fire about 5:20 a.m. inside of the Gunhill Deli and Lotto, shooting the 44-year-old in the left hip before fleeing north from the shop on East Gun Hill Road, near Tenbroeck Avenue, cops said.

Police were on the hunt for a 5-foot-6 man with dreadlocks and a stocky build, cops said. He wore a brown leather jacket during the attack, cops added.

The victim was recovering at Jacobi Hospital and is expected to survive.

It was not immediately clear what sparked the violence.

A man was gunned down in Fordham yesterday, police said.

Cops found the 23-year-old victim unconscious with a bullet wound to the stomach at about 3:30 a.m., across the street from PS 85 on Marion Avenue near East 187th Street, authorities said.

EMS pronounced the man dead at the scene. No arrests have been made.

A hapless robber tried to hold up a Midtown bank, police said.

The alleged suspect (right) went to Wells Fargo on Seventh Avenue near 39th Street about 1:40 p.m. Oct. 31 and passed a note to a teller, cops said. He then fled without any money.

Cops are looking for a man in his late 20s or early 30s, about 5-foot-9 and 180 pounds, authorities said. He wore glasses and a large hat during the heist and carried a Duane Reade “Urban Luggage” bag.

A young Flatbush man was killed by a hit-and-run driver yesterday, police said.

Jason Williams, 23, was running against the light at the intersection of Nostrand and Foster avenues, when a red SUV smashed into him at about 3:40 a.m., cops said.

A witness told police that the driver was speeding, police sources said.

When police arrived at the scene, the SUV was gone. Williams was found lying on the ground with severe body trauma and died shortly after at Kings County Hospital, cops said.

No arrests have been made.

An ex-con with a lengthy rap sheet was busted for a robbery in Bedford-Stuyvesant, police sources said.

Emmanuel Franklin, 52, was arrested Thursday after he allegedly slashed an acquaintance who had loaned him $30, sources said.

Franklin allegedly cut the victim in the face at about 6:45 a.m. Oct. 23 on Marcus Garvey Boulevard after the man asked him to pay the cash back, sources said.

The victim needed 20-30 stitches.

Franklin also allegedly stole $100 from a cab he hailed on Nov. 1 on Willoughby and Marcy avenues, sources said.

Franklin was picked out of a lineup and charged with assault, menacing, robbery and criminal possession of a weapon.

Franklin’s rap sheet included over 60 collars, police sources said. He was most recently paroled from state prison for an assault, records show.
