A mugger shot a woman in the leg early yesterday outside a notorious Chelsea nightclub, authorities said.
The woman, 26, left Shadow, across the street from the Fashion Institute of Technology on West 28th Street, at 4:10 a.m.
She and two pals were headed for Seventh Avenue, cops said, when two strangers approached and one snarled, “Gimme your jewelry!” to one of the friends, a 30-year-old man.
When he refused, the thug pulled a gun and fired three or four shots, grazing the woman, as his accomplice snatched a $400 chain off the third friend, 28. They then took off on foot.
The woman was treated at Beth Israel Hospital.
Shots were also fired outside Shadow in March, seven weeks after a man was stabbed near the club.
“It makes you feel unsafe,” said FIT student Maria Coleiro, 23. “Right across from our building.”
